On August 29, PLUS Journal joined German American Chamber of Commerce at CEO Speaker Series, which hosted Peter Schwarzenbauer, president of Porsche Cars North America at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL. Thanks to the courtesy of GACCOM, PLUS had the opportunity to hear a lecture about brand promotion, recognition and to meet several business professionals.
{mosimage} Schwarzenbauer, President & CEO of Porsche Cars North America spoke on Brand Appeal vs. Volume Pressure. “I still always enjoy the response when I ask people whether they would like to drive Porshe,” said Schwarzenbauer. “Volume does not equal luxury and brand appeal.” Throughout 60 years in industry Porsche definitely achieved the name recognition and attractiveness. “Small and exclusive is nowadays huge advantage to the audience,” said the president. Delivering value to the product is, according to the CEO, what customers need. “Build value into whatever product. Be confident, and become successful.” |
