On July 25th, 2007 the movie lovers in America will be able to view the Prokofiev's classic work in an animated story “Peter and the Wolf.”

FRONT_P&W.jpg The film, which has won two most important awards during the Film Festival in Annecy in France: the Annecy Cristal for Best Short and the coveted Audience Award presents a story of a boy who finds himself in a brutal world trying to capture a wolf. All his journeys and adventures are accompanied by a crazy bird and a dreamy duck, who help him along the way.

Oscar winning Se-ma-for Studios in Lodz, Poland who employed over a hundred graphic artists to make this production come true, is one of the biggest achievements in the Polish animation craft to date. It premiered in London almost a year ago on September 23, 2006.

Peter & the Wolf is now available online at www.breakthrufilms.co.uk and will be screened on 25.07.07 in the Mann Centre for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, USA with the accompainiament from the With Philadelphia Orchestra. All are encouraged to attend.
