Chicago Fire is famous for its ethnic nights, when by hoping to encourage a particular group of people, they present special perks for this community. On August 4th, 2007 Chicago Fire will feature Polish night with pre-game festivities such as food, drink and live entertainment and an autograph session with Peter Nowak, former Fire Capitan. The long list of special encouragements does not end there. That same night, during the halftime ceremony, former Fire Coach Bob Bradley will be inducted into the club's Hall of Fame, the "Ring of Fire". To enrich the Polish heritage, the opposing team, Columbus crew, will feature a Polish-American midfielder Danny Szetela and former Poland international midfielder Robert Warzycha, who currently is the Columbus Crew coach. "This is our second year hosting Polish Night at TOYOTA PARK and we know the fans will enjoy all the festivities surrounding the event," said Fire President/CEO John Guppy. "We feel a strong connection with our Polish fan base and expect them to once again celebrate Chicago Fire soccer and the club's strong Polish heritage."
